f you previously had cosmetic tattoo procedure done, please text 205.476.2757 a clear, full face photo of your bare brows before booking for approval. Book under Cover up/ Correction brows. If you fail to submit the above and book an appointment anyway, I will refuse service and your deposit will be forfeited. The reason being is that not all old tattoos from another artist can be covered or corrected.

You will have the opportunity to discuss shape and color with the cosmetic tattoo artist. In proposing a design for you, we will take into consideration your age, personality, current use of makeup, daily activities, and the color and undertones of the skin. The artist will also take into consideration the shape of your lips, structure of your brow bone, or curvature of your eyelid before creating the shape outline. Once the design has been simulated, you will need to approve before the tattooing occurs.

Yes, microblading and permanent makeup are a cosmetic tattoo. Any procedure that implants pigment or ink into the skin is a tattoo, and it is permanent. Instead of using tattoo type of equipment, we use only state of the art digital technology that was specifically created for cosmetic tattooing procedures. Our equipment is quiet, precise and more delicate for the skin of the face.
-
All tattoos are permanent, since something is being implanted into the skin and even with removal, there will always be traces of pigment behind.
-
The average time for permanent makeup procedures takes around 2 hours to complete. Time will be spent completing a consultation which includes discussion of your medical history, lifestyle, personality, design, color, and any questions or concerns you may have. After a topical numbing agent has been applied the design will be created for review. The actual tattooing can take between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the tissue response.

Here at Le Mila Beauty, we do our best to keep you comfortable and relaxed by our winning personalities, gentle touch, and topical numbing agents. The majority of our clients say “oh, that wasn’t bad, and much easier than I expected”. Each person’s pain tolerance plays a role as well as stress levels which can increase the intensity. If you are a woman on your cycle, this will also play a role. We recommend that you drink plenty of water to have your skin well hydrated. Do not take Motrin, Aspirin or any type of blood thinners prior to a procedure.
-
Do NOT consume caffeine, alcohol, or any blood thinning medications.
Do NOT wax or remove any natural brow hairs prior to your appointment (I will take care of them for you)
Do NOT wear any makeup around your brow area to your appointment
Do NOT use any strong active ingredient on your brow area prior to your appointment
Do NOT spray tan or use tanning lotion on face near brows 2 weeks before/after sessions.
(ex: Retinol should not be used on the brow area due to increased cellular turnover which affects the pigment retention and color)
Please set aside 2-3 hours for your appointment to avoid rushing. I pay attention to detail and take my time during our appointment to give you the best service.
-
After your intial session, a 8-12 week follow up is required. After your follow up, you’ll need to return between 12-24 months for a color boost/touchp to maintan your pmu.
